Tzatziki Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 C. Greek whole milk yogurt
  • 1 English cucumber, seeded, grated and drained
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 t. lemon zest
  • 1 T. fresh lemon juice
  • 2 T. chopped fresh dill
  • Kosher salt and black pepper

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the yogurt, cucumber, garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice and dill. Season with salt and pepper. Chill.

  2. Serve with pita bread or veggies.

  3. Note: For extra flavor, add some olive oil or some coarsely chopped fresh mint.
