Shrimp on the Bar-B

Ingredients

  • 2.5 lbs large shrimp
  • Marinade:
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 tbsp honey
  • 1 1/2 tbsp minced chili peppers
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 4 green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp parsley
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • Sauce:
  • 1 cup mayo
  • 1 tbsp chopped chili pepper

Directions

  1. Marinate peeled and deveined shrimp in marinade ingredients for 1-2 hours.

  2. Thread on skewers.

  3. Barbecue until just pink and curled.

  4. To make sauce, combine mayo and chili pepper.

  5. Serve shrimp with sauce
