Italian Sausage Rigatoni

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg (19 oz) Johnsonville Italian Mild Sausage Links
  • 1 jar (24 oz) Classico Tomato & Basil Pasta Sauce
  • 1 pks (1 lb) rigatoni pasta
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large sweet red pepper, chopped
  • 2 tbsp Italian parsley, chopped

Directions

  1. Cook sausage links according to package directions

  2. Meanwhile, cook rigatoni according to package directions. Drain and set aside.

  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil until hot. Add garlic; saute for 30 seconds or until golden. Add red peppers; saute for 2 minutes or until crisp-tender.

  4. Cut sausage into 1/4 inch coil slices; add to skillet.

  5. Stir in Classico Pasta Sauce; heat through.

  6. Add pasta; toss to combine.

  7. Sprinkle with parsley.

  8. OPTIONAL: Prepare New York Brand Texas Garlic Toast according to package directions and serve along with Sutter Home wine.
