Mashed Potatoes

Serves 6 people

Ingredients

  • 6 medium potatoes
  • 2 T. margarine
  • 1/4 t. salt
  • Dash black pepper
  • 1/4 cup milk, heated

Directions

  1. Prepare, peel and cook potatoes, covered, in boiling salted water until tender (25-40 minutes for whole, 20-25 minutes for quartered). Drain.

  2. Mash with potato masher or on low speed of electric mixer. Add margarine, salt and pepper. Gradually beat in enough of the hot milk to make light and fluffy.
