Baked Cabbage and other vegitables

Ingredients

  • 1 head of cabbage - cut into wedges (about 1/2 in thick
  • 2 Tablespoons of real butter - slice into thin slices
  • 1 medium onion
  • aluminum foil
  • Option:
  • fresh asparagus
  • fresh squash
  • Garlic powder
  • Salt
  • pepper

Directions

  1. In a large baking dish (9 × 13 pan), place aluminum foil and the add cabbage so that it lays flat in dish.

  2. Add onions on top of cabbage.

  3. Sprinkle garlic powder over cabbage as well as salt and pepper.

  4. you can add other vegitables to top or cook only cabbage. Add butter slices to top of vegetables and cover with aluminum foil.

  5. Bake until softened but not completely.
