Holiday Cranberry Dip

(from Arlene’s recipe box)

Ingredients

  • 1 bag fresh cranberries
  • 1 c sugar
  • 1 c apricot preserves (smooth kind with no chunks)
  • 1 c chopped pecans

Directions

  1. Put cranberries in baking pan with 1 cup sugar. Stir to coat. Bake350 covered until cooked down into liquid (20 min or so) Remove from oven and stir in 1 cup of chopped pecans an 1 cup apricot preserves. Refrigerate over night.

  2. To serve,, pour over a brick of cream cheese and serve with Ritz crackers
