Cornbread

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 1/4 cup of sugar
  • 5 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup cooking oil

Directions

  1. Stir together flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking

  2. powder and salt. Add eggs, milk, and oil.

  3. Beat just till smooth. Turn into a greased

  4. iron skillet that has been pre-heated in the

  5. oven. Bake at 425 for 20 to 25 minutes.
