Orange Ginger Green Beans

  • 1 lb green beans
  • 1 T trans free margarine
  • 1/2 c chopped shallots
  • 1 T finely chopped fresh ginger
  • 1/2 t grated orange peel


  1. Bring med saucepan water to boil.

  2. Add beans and cover, simmering 5 min until tender.

  3. Remove to bowl.

  4. Melt margarine over low heat.

  5. Saute in ginger and shallots until shallots are tender.

  6. Mix everything together.
