Sour Cream Coconut Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 Box Dun Hines Butter Recipe Mix
  • 2 C sugar
  • 16 oz sour cream
  • 12 oz coconut (angel flake)
  • 1 8 oz Cool Whip

Directions

  1. Mix cake mix as directed on box. Divide up and make 5 round layers. Cool

  2. Mix together sugar, sour cream and coconut and set aside 1 cup of mixture.

  3. Spread mixture between layers and sides as you stack the layers of the cake.

  4. Mix together cool whip and the 1 C of mixture set aside to frost the top and sides of the cake.

  5. Cake is best if it is set in the frig. for 2-3 days before serving.
