Sugared Pecans

Ingredients

  • 1 T. egg white
  • 1 t. water
  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 t. salt

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 300 degrees. Line jelly roll pan with parchment paper.

  2. In a medium bowl, beat egg white and water until frothy. Stir in pecans until thoroughly coated. Add sugar and salt; mix well. Spread pecans in a single layer in pan.

  3. Bake 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. Remove pecans from pan to waxed paper; cool at least 10 minutes. Break apart if necessary.
