Mostaccioli

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons romano cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • garlic powder, to taste
  • 1 28 ounce can tomato sauce
  • 1 15 ounce can tomato sauce
  • 1 15 ounce can water
  • garlic salt, to taste (suggested 2 T.)
  • salt, to taste (suggested 1/2 T.)
  • pepper, to taste (suggested 2 t.)
  • 1/2 teaspoon basil
  • 8 ounces mostaccioli

Directions

  1. Mix ground beef, romano cheese, eggs, parsley, salt, pepper, and garlic powder and form into meatballs. Fry in skillet until meatballs are cooked through.

  2. Mix tomato sauce, water, garlic salt, salt, pepper, and basil together to make sauce. Add meatballs. Simmer 2-3 hours.

  3. Serve over cooked mostaccioli noodles.
