Brooke’s pasta

Serves 4 people

Ingredients

  • 1 lb spaghetti
  • 8 slices cut into 1/2 in pieces
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 grated Parmesan
  • 1/4 t black pepper
  • 1 cup peas (fresh or thawed)

Directions

  1. In a large pot of salted boiling water cook spaghetti until al dente, about 8-9 min.

  2. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup of past water

  3. In large sauté pan cook bacon until crisp. Transfer to paper towel lined plate. Drain grease from pan

  4. In a bowl whisk eggs, Parmesan and pepper.

  5. Place pasta in large saut̩ pan over medium Рlow heat.

  6. Quickly stir in eggs mixture, peas and bacon and toss to coat, cooking about 1-2 minutes.

  7. Serve immediately with a sprinkle of parmesan
