Spinach Dip

Serves 16 people

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 cup shredded Italian cheese blend
  • 1/4 cup mayo
  • 1 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 8 oz frozen chopped spinach or 2 cups fresh spinach

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. In large bowl, mix cream cheese, mayo, shredded cheese, Italian seasoning, pepper and garlic until thoroughly blended.

  3. Thaw and drain frozen spinach, or chop fresh spinach in a food processor. Add spinach to cheese mixture and stir until spinach is evenly distributed.

  4. Spread dip into glass pie plate or similar oven-safe dish.

  5. Bake for 30 minutes, or until heated through.

  6. Serve hot with sliced bread, corn chips, or pitas.
