Ingredients

  • 6 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 3 oz crab meat
  • 1/2 tsp grated lemon peel
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp chives
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • Oil (for deep frying)

Directions

  1. Chop crab meat in a food processor until minced.

  2. Thoroughly mix all ingredients (except wrappers and oil) together in small bowl.

  3. Place about 1 tsp of mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.

  4. Use a small brush or your finger to wet the edges of the wrapper with water or egg wash. Fold the wontons in triangles and press the edges tightly to seal.

  5. Heat oil to 350 degrees, then deep fry wontons in small batches about 3-4 minutes or until light golden brown and crispy. You may need to turn them once.

  6. Drain the wontons on paper towels and serve warm.
