Savory lamb burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground lamb
  • 1/4 C. finely chopped red onion
  • 2 oz. feta cheese,crumbled
  • 2 tsps. herb and spice medley (I used Mural of Flavor)
  • Freshly ground pepper
  • 2 Tbs. olive oil
  • 1 bunch watercress or arugula
  • Olive Salsa
  • 1 C chopped tomatoes
  • 1/2 chopped Kalamata olives
  • 2 Tbs. chopped parsley
  • 2 Tbs. finely chopped red onion
  • 1 Tbs. exta virgin olive oil

Directions

  1. Mix together the ingredients for the olive salsa and set aside

  2. Mix together the ground meat, onion, feta, seasoning, and black pepper.

  3. Form mixture into 6 patties. Brush each patty with olive oil to prevent sticking and grill or pan fry the patties over medium heat for 3 min. on each side.

  4. Serve each patty on a roll with watercress and a spoonful of salsa.
