Carmel Frosting

Ingredients

  • 1 16 oz pkg light brown sugar
  • 1/2 C butter
  • 1 5 oz can evaporated milk
  • 1/2 t baking powder
  • 1/2 t baking powder
  • 1/2 t vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Bring first 4 ingredients to a full rolling boil in a medium saucepan, stirring often. Boil stirring constantly, 3 minutes. Remove from heat; add baking powder & vanilla. Beat at medium speed 2 to 3 minutes or until thickened. Drizzle quickly over cake.
