Korean-style mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 8-12 shiitake mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 tsp sugar
  • 2-3 tbsp oil
  • 1-2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

Directions

  1. Mix the soy sauce, sesame oil, and sugar together in a small bowl. Set aside.

  2. Cut off and discard the stems and slice the caps into strips.

  3. Heat the oil in a wok or skillet over high heat.

  4. Add the mushrooms and stir fry until they begin to brown.

  5. Add the garlic and stir fry another 1 to 2 minutes.

  6. Remove from heat and stir in the sauce.

  7. Remove to a serving bowl and sprinkle with the sesame seeds.
