Whole Wheat Banana Bread

Ingredients

  • 1cup whole wheat flour
  • 1/2cup all purpose flour
  • 1tsp soda
  • 3/4tsp salt
  • 1/2cup butter, softened
  • 3/4cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1.25cup mashed bananas
  • 1/4cup buttermilk

Directions

  1. Combine flour, soda, and salt. Stir well and set aside.

  2. Combine butter and sugar; cream mixture until light and fluffy. Add egg and mix well.

  3. Combine bananas and buttermilk; add to creamed mixture alternately with dry ingredients, stirring only until combined.

  4. Pour batter into greased and floured loaf pan. Bake 350degrees for 50 minutes.

  5. Cool 10 minutes
