Buttery Sweet Potato Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 cans (15-3/4 oz.) sweet potatoes, drained and mashed
  • 1/2 C sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 C butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • Dash salt
  • TOPPING
  • 1 C coursely crushed butter-flavored crackers
  • 1/2 C packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 C butter, melted

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Transfer to a greased 8 inch square baking dish. Combine the topping ingredients; sprinkle over sweet potatoe mixture. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
