Creamed Dried Beef (Shit on a Shingle)

Serves 4 people

Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1.5 c. Milk
  • 8 oz. beef

Directions

  1. Melt butter in pan over low heat

  2. Whisk in flour to make roux

  3. Whisk in milk a little at a time

  4. Increase to medium heat and cook until thick.

  5. Bring to boil and add beef until cooked. Serve over toast
