Crusty Herbed Bread

  • 2T light margarine
  • 1 T grated parmesan
  • 1 T snipped fresh chives
  • 1/2 t dried thyme
  • 1/4 t paprika
  • 1/8 t garlic powder
  • 1/2 loaf (6 oz) italian or french bread (whole)


  1. Cut bread horizontally almost all the way through (like a very large hot dog bun).

  2. Combine margarine, parmesan, chives, thyme, paprika, and garlic powder and spread this mixture on the bread.

  3. Wrap bread in foil and bake at 350 until heated through (about 15 min).
