Honey Nut rice krispie bars

Serves 15 people

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 4 cups rice krispies (gluten free)
  • 1/2 cup toasted chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup toasted slivered almonds
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds

Directions

  1. In large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup, and honey.

  2. Bring to boil and boil for 1 minute, stirring to dissolve sugar. Remove from heat.

  3. Immediately stir in cereal, nuts, cranberries, and sesame seeds until well combined.

  4. Spread in a 13×9″ baking pan that has been lined with foil and lightly greased. Press firmly into pan with greased hands. Let cool.

  5. Cut into bars, store tightly in covered container.
