Gooey Butter Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 stick softened butter
  • 1 box powder sugar
  • 1 block softened creme cheese
  • 2 eggs

Directions

  1. Creme 1 stick butter and two eggs.

  2. Add cake mix & mix well.

  3. Spread onto bottom of one 9 × 13 or two 8 × 8 greased cake pans.

  4. Pat out (batter will be thick)

  5. Creme together 2 eggs & creme cheese. Add powdered sugar (saving enough to dust the top of the cake when cooled). Mix well.

  6. Pour on top of cake mixture.

  7. Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes (Top should be golden brown).

  8. Dust with remaining powdered sugar when cooled.
