Autumn Hamburger Soup

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs lean ground beef
  • 2 C onion, chopped
  • 6 C beef boullion
  • 2 C carrots, chopped
  • 2 C celery, chopped
  • 2 t salt
  • 2 t Kitchen bouquet
  • pepper
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1/4 t basil
  • 32 oz canned tomatoes, chopped or diced
  • 1 and 1/2 C pasta, rice or barley

Directions

  1. Brown beef. Drain excess fat and add onion to cook. Stir in all remaining ingredients but starch. Cook one hour simmering ’til all veggies ar tender. Add starch and serve when cooked.
