Unbaked Chocolate Tart

Ingredients

  • 1 roll-out pie crust
  • 1 cup + 6 Tbsp heavy cream
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 lb Ghirardelli bittersweet chocolate (4 baking bars) broken into piece
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • cocoa powder for dusting

Directions

  1. Press crust into pan. Bake according to package for unbaked filling. Bring cream, sugar, and salt to a soft boil. Turn the heat to med/low. Add butter and chocolate. Keep stirring until melted. Remove from heat and after about 5 mins add the milk and stir into the chocolate mixture. Pour into pie shell. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours. Dust with cocoa powder if desired.
