Mom’s Taco Dip

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 bunch of green onions, chopped (green parts only)
  • homemade taco seasoning (FMA-friendly--see recipe)
  • 1 can refried beans (check to make sure no onions, HFCS or corn syrup)
  • 2 8 oz cans tomato sauce
  • 2 (8 oz) packages of Colby/Monterrey cheese, shredded


  1. Brown turkey and onions in large skillet.

  2. eheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix in taco seasoning and refried beans and 1.5 packages of cheese (leave 1/2 package out).

  3. Add some water to make mixture the consistency semi-thick goopeyness. Pour into casserole dish.

  4. Sprinkle remaining cheese over casserole. Bake for 2 hours or until cheese bubbles.
