Wake-Up Ham and Egg Baskets

  • 4 pieces thinly sliced deli-style cooked ham (about 4 ounces)
  • 4 eggs
  • kosher salt
  • Black pepper
  • 4 teaspoons light cream
  • Extra-virgin olive oil


  1. Lightly oil four 6-ounce custard cups. Place cups on a baking sheet. Line each custard cup with a piece of ham, pleating ham as needed to fit. Carefully break 1 egg into the center of each custard cup. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Pour 1 teaspoon half-and-half over each egg; cover with foil.

  2. Bake in a 350°F oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until eggs are firm and whites are opaque.
