Dorothy Oakley’s Lemon Cake Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1pg Lemon Cake Mix
  • 1 small pg Lemon Jello Mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 oil
  • 3/4 water

Directions

  1. Mix this together in a large bowl until thick and smooth. Pour into greased/floured pan.
  2. Bake 350 degrees for 40 mins.
  3. When cake is done, take from oven and puncture holes all over with a large meat fork and drizzle with glaze.

  4. GLAZE: 2 c powdered sugar disolved in 1/2 c lemon juice. Use all the mixture, making sure it sinks into all the holes.
