Rhubarb Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups raw rhubarb sliced in 1/2 inch chunks
  • 1-6 0z red jello
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 3 tablespoons margarine

Directions

  1. Cream flour and sugar.
  2. Add eggs

  3. Add flour and baking powder.

  4. Add milk and salt.

  5. Mix

  6. In separate bowl, mix rhubarb, jello and sugar.

  7. Put on top of batter.

  8. Mix in separate bowl sugar, flour and margarine.

  9. Sprinkle on top of the layered rhubarb.

  10. bake at 350 for 1hr and 30 minutes.
