Skillet Chicken Teriyaki

  • 2 tbs oil
  • 3 lb chicken pieces, fat and skin removed
  • 3/4 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbs brown sugar
  • 2 tbs vinegar
  • 1 tbs minced garlic


  1. Heat oil in skillet. Arrange chicken in skillet. Fry over med-hi heat until chicken browns slightly. Add pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, vinegar and garlic. Stir the sauce around the chicken to dissolve the sugar. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and cover. Simmer for about 45 mins.
