Spiced Nuts

Ingredients

  • 1 T. oil
  • 1/2 C. cashews
  • 1/2 C. pecans
  • 1/2 C. whole almonds
  • 1/2 C. macadamia nuts
  • 1/2 C. peanuts (optional)
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 1/2 t. paprika
  • 1/3 t. ginger powder
  • 1/3 t. cinnamon powder
  • 2 t. light brown sugar
  • 1/2 C. sour dried cherries

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a large sauté pan over low heat. Add all the nuts, salt and paprika and roast until golden about 8 to 10 minutes. Add the ginger, cinnamon and sugar and cook, stirring constantly, for another 3 minutes.

  2. Spread the nuts in a single layer on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper and let cool.

  3. Transfer to a bowl and toss in the cherries. Serve.
