Tex-Mex Tortilla soup

Ingredients

  • 2 lg. chicken breast- cooked and chopped
  • 2 1/2 c. water
  • 14 1/2oz. can beef broth
  • 14 1/2oz. can chicken broth
  • 14 1/2oz. can stewed tomatoes- chopped and undrained
  • 1/2 c. onion- chopped
  • 14oz. can whole kernal corn- drained
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • Tortilla chips
  • Monterrey Jack shredded cheese

Directions

  1. Combine all and bring to boil. Simmer 10 min. To serve: crush corn chips in bottom of bowl, add soup and top with monterrey jack shredded cheese. Add tobasco to heat it up if you like.
