Salmon with soy-lime sauce

Ingredients

  • salmon fillet or steak
  • soy sauce
  • lime juice
  • red pepper flakes (optional)

Directions

  1. lay the salmon skin-down in a frying pan

  2. mix a sauce of half soy, half lime juice

  3. spoon a few spoonfuls of sauce on each piece of fish

  4. sprinkle red pepper to taste

  5. set heat to low-medium

  6. let cook, covered

  7. spoon more sauce on the fish after five minutes or so.

  8. use a fork to check that the fish is done – it will look dark pink inside even when it’s cooked.

  9. don’t overcook!
