French Onion Soup

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 medium onions
  • 1 package of au jus gravy mix
  • 3 cups of water

Directions

  1. Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.

  2. Thinly slice onion.

  3. Add onions to saucepan.

  4. Cook over medium heat until onions are golden brown.

  5. Add au jus packet and 3 cups of water to saucepan.

  6. Bring to a boil.

  7. Reduce heat to low, cover and allow to simmer for 10 minutes.

  8. Serve with a crusty bread and swiss cheese.
