Baked Spaghetti

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg spaghetti noodles (13-16 oz)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 med onion, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1 jar spaghetti sauce (26 oz)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 5 tbsp butter, melted
  • 2 cups small curd cottage cheese (16 oz)
  • 4 cups shredded Mozzarella cheese

Directions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions; meanwhile, brown beef and onion then drain

  2. Stir spaghetti sauce and seasoned salt together with the beef and onion

  3. In a large bowl, whisk eggs, Parmesan, and butter; drain spaghetti and add to eggs, coating well

  4. Place half of the spaghetti into a greased 9×13 pan; top with half of the cottage cheese, meat sauce, and mozzarella; repeat layers

  5. Cover and bake at 350 for 40 min; uncover and bake 20 min longer
