Old Dutch Caramel Corn

Best Caramel Corn Ever

Ingredients

  • 1 (10 ounce) Bag "Old Dutch Puffcorn"
  • 1/2 Pound Butter (not margarine)
  • 1 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Light Corn Syrup
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda

Directions

  1. Place corn curls in a large roaster pan.

  2. In a 2 quart saucepan cook together for 2 minutes.

  3. Add 1 teaspoon baking soda to mixture. This will cause mixture to foam, so a 2 quart saucepan is necessary.

  4. Pour caramel mixture over corn curls and stil until mixed.

  5. Place in 250 degree oven for 45 minutes.

  6. Stir at least every 10-15 minutes.

  7. Remove from oven and pour on wax paper and BREAK apart.

  8. Enjoy!
