Swiss Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 baking potatoes slice very thin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Pepper, dash
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1-1/2 cups milk, scalded
  • 1/4 pound Swiss or Gruyere cheese, grated

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a medium sized casserole dish, sprinkle more cheese on top and bake uncovered at 300 degrees for 1 hour 15 minutes.
