Mashed Potato Surprise

Ingredients

  • 6-8 Pork Chops
  • 6-8 Large Potatoes
  • 1/2 cup Butter
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Sage
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Parsley flakes
  • 1 pound Breakfast Sausage
  • 1 large Onion, chopped
  • 1 can of Cream of Potato soup
  • 1 can of Cream of Chicken soup
  • 1 can of milk

Directions

  1. eheat oven to 350.

  2. Dice potatoes and boil until tender.

  3. Drain potatoes and put in bowl.

  4. Add butter, salt, garlic and 1/4 cup of milk.

  5. Mash the potatoes as you would normally.

  6. Put aside, keep warm.

  7. Place pork chops in the oven; cook until done.

  8. Put sausage in a skillet, scramble and brown.

  9. Dice onion and add to the skillet.

  10. Cook until onion is translucent.

  11. Pour both cans of soup into a pot; mix well.

  12. Add half a can of milk at a time until soup is

  13. the consistency of gravy.
  14. Get pork chops, brown them in a skillet on

  15. the stove (even though they were cooked
  16. in the oven already, you can brown them
  17. on the stove if you want to.
  18. Once cooked, place a pork chop on the plate,

  19. scoop a lump of mashed potatoes on top
  20. of the pork chop, sprinkle the sausage
  21. and onion mix on top of the mashed
  22. potatoes and then put gravy over the top
  23. of the whole thing.
  24. Serve with sides to make a full meal.
