Fruited Pound Cake

Ingredients

  • 170 gm Shortening
  • 170 gm Butter
  • 5 gm Salt
  • 340 gm Sugar
  • 7 Eggs
  • 1340 gm Pastry Flour
  • 125 gm Marzipan Pieces
  • 150 gm Raisons
  • 150 gm Choc Chips

Directions

  1. Grease and flour pans.

  2. Cream shortening, butter mixture on high for 5 minutes.

  3. Gradually add eggs.

  4. Add flour all at once.

  5. Fold in extras by hand.

  6. Bake at 350 – remove when just done. Cakes dry out.

  7. Yield 4 * 600 gm loaves
