Fajitas

Ingredients

  • Lean Sirloin Steak or Chicken Breasts, cut into thin strips
  • Onion, sliced and separated into strips
  • Green & Red Bell Pepper, sliced
  • Sliced Mushrooms, if desired
  • Minced Garlic
  • Garlic Powder
  • Mrs. Dash Fiesta Lime Seasoning
  • Sea Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Lime Juice, Chili Powder & Cumin, if desired, to taste

Directions

  1. Season meat with sea salt, pepper, garlic powder and Mrs. Dash Fiesta Lime Seasoning and cook in a little olive oil in skillet till almost completely done.

  2. Remove to plate & cover to keep warm.

  3. Add veggies & garlic to skillet. Cook until almost to desired tenderness then add the meat back into the skillet.

  4. Season all with desired amounts of seasonings and cook until meat is done and veggies are tender or caramelized to your liking.

  5. You can also add in tomatoes to the veggies at the end of the cooking process if desired!

  6. If you’re still in the middle of your 30 day plan, you can eat the steak or chicken & veggies alone-add 2 tbsp guacamole on top or eat on top of your favorite salad lettuce if desired.

  7. If you have completed your 30 days, and are on maintenance, you can eat your fajita fillings on one of the Mission brand, whole wheat or Carb Balance soft taco/fajita sized tortillas.
