Spinach pie

Ingredients

  • 14 sheets phyllo dough
  • 10 oz. chopped spinach
  • 12 oz. cottage cheese
  • 4 oz. feta
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1/2 tsp. dried dill
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 T oil
  • 1/2 butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • black pepper

Directions

  1. Chop onion and saute in oil until tender.

  2. Add spinach, then cheeses, dill, eggs and pepper.

  3. Brush phyllo dough between layers. Place half the layers in the bottom of a buttered cake pan.

  4. Spread with spinach mix, then top with the rest of the dough. Put butter on top.

  5. Bake at 375 for 45-50 minutes. Let rest 10 minutes.
