Red Velvet Cheese Ball

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cup red velvet cake mix, dry
  • 2 tbs brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
  • Assorted cookies/graham crackers for serving

Directions

  1. Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth

  2. Add in red velvet cake mix, brown sugar and powdered sugar – beat until smooth and combined

  3. Turn mixture onto plastic wrap – wrap into a ball and refrigerate 2 hours

  4. Put chocolate chips on a plate/shallow dish

  5. Remove cheese ball from refrigerator, unwrap and roll in chocolate chips

  6. Place on serving plat and serve with cookies/graham crackers
