Peanut Brittle

Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup corn syrup (white)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 cups nuts
  • 1 TBSP margarine
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 heaping tsp baking soda

Directions

  1. ir and cook (on high) first 3 ingredients till candy thermometer reaches 240.

  2. d next 3 ingredients and stir constantly. Cook till 300. Remove from heat.

  3. Quickly add and stir in the last 2 ingredients.

  4. Pour and work fast.
