Easy Lasagne

No precooking of pasta needed!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 32 ounces spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 - 3/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 16 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups mozzarella cheese -- shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 2 packages garlic bread

Directions

  1. Brown beef, drain.

  2. Add sauce, water, salt and simmer for 5-10 min.

  3. In 9×13” pan layer 1/3 of the sauce on bottom of pan.

  4. Place 1/2 of the uncooked noodles on top of sauce in pan, layer 1 cup ricotta cheese (I spread it on the noodles before laying them in the pan), 1/3 of the sauce, 1/4 cup parmesan cheese and 1 cup mozzarella cheese.

  5. Repeat, ending with cheeses.

  6. Cover with foil. Bake at 350* for 55-60 min.

  7. Remove foil and let stand for 10 min. before serving.
