Refrigerator Pickles

Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 3 cups apple cider vinegar
  • 1/3 cup salt
  • 1 heaping teas tumeric
  • 1 tablespoon mustard seed
  • 1 tablespoon celery seed
  • 6 to 8 medium white onions
  • 12 cups cucumbers -- sliced very thin

Directions

  1. Stir 1st 6 ingredients and pour over cucumbers and onions, which have been sliced, into a gallon glass jar. Keep in refrigerator.
