Smothered Salisbury Steak

NOTES : May want to use more onion soup mix.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/2 cup fine dry breadcrumbs
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 eggs -- beaten
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 tablespoon onion soup mix
  • 1 can water

Directions

  1. Mix first 7 ingredients then make into 8-10 patties.

  2. Put into pan, sprinkle dry onion soup mix over patties.

  3. Bake at 325* for 20 min.

  4. Pour soup mixture over patties for gravy and bake 15-20 min. longer.
