Doug’s Pheasant Fingers

Serves 6 people

Ingredients

  • 6 pheasant breast
  • Italian bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons garlic salt
  • 1 tablespoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons parsley
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • Newman’s Own Creamy Caesar dressing (or ranch, etc)
  • Silver Springs Prepared Horseradish.

Directions

  1. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.

  2. Beat eggs and add milk in a shallow dish.

  3. Heat oil in frying pan over medium heat.

  4. Cut pheasant breasts into 3 × 3/4 inch strips.

  5. Dip into egg and milk mixture, then into flour mixture.

  6. Put pheasant pieces into hot oil and cook until golden brown, about 3 minutes on both sides.

  7. Mix 50:50 Caesar dressing:Prepared Horseradish

  8. Dip the fried meat in the sauce and enjoy!!!

  9. Drain on paper towels.

  10. Serve!
