Navy Bean and Beef Puree

Ingredients

  • 3 cups water
  • 1/2 cup dried navy beans, soaked, drained and rinsed (see "Beans or Chickpeas" recipe)
  • 3/4 cup carrot, peeled and chopped
  • 125 grams beef (tenderloin or sirloin)

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients; bring to a boil over medium heat.

  2. Reduce heat to low and simmer until beans are fork tender, about 75 minutes.

  3. Puree to desired consistency
