Puffed Wheat Cake

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 8 cups puffed wheat

Directions

  1. Cook butter, sugar, syrup and cocoa in large pot over medium heat.

  2. Bring to rolling boil and boil for 1 minute.

  3. Remove from heat and add vanilla, mix.

  4. Add puffed wheat to the pot and mix.

  5. Pour into greased 9×13 pan, press down with buttered spoon/wet hands.
