Blond Butterscotch Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1.5 sticks of butter
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1.5 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c. chopped walnuts
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/5 cups butterscotch chips

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 350

  2. Melt butter in saucepan.

  3. Add brown sugar and cook until browned like caramel (almost burned a bit)

  4. Refrigerate sauce for awhile.

  5. Roast walnuts in pan .

  6. Beat salt and vanilla in to cooled mixture.

  7. Add in eggs (one at a time)

  8. Beat until fluffy and lighter in color

  9. Add nuts and last fold in butterscotch chips

  10. Pour into greased pan and bake for 30-40 mins.
